Just ran into this from 3 years ago in some files I was purging. This is what makes inspecting and teaching others worthwhile for me.

I sent this last Thursday but had something wrong in your email and it kicked back. So …

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the recent training seminar you and your guys put on. Although I’ve been doing this almost 2 years now, this was the 1st formal training we’d been to outside of Tennessee or Atlanta, GA. Your training was head and shoulders above the other 3 seminars we have attended. My wife and I were realyy impressed with all the sessions, but your own session on “Risk Reduction” and the little tips you threw out at various times during all 3 of the days on marketing, business, etc were the best of the best.

When we had originally thought about getting into this business, we had attended a day long seminar on the east coast put on by a franchise group. One of the speakers there had mentioned your name in passing as being one of the best 2-3 home inspectors in the country that he had ever met. Then over the past 2 years down here, several long time ASHI or NAHI inspectors and instructors in Memphis and Atlanta had mentioned your name in their own training sessions and said if we ever got the opportunity to hear you speak - don’t miss it. Not to blow smoke, but we thought you were everything they said and a whole lot more.

Finally we wanted to compliment you on the young lady that was helping you that day. The lady inspector from Wichita that was right behind us talked to her for awhile, and since we were so close to them we were very impressed by both her presence and her bearing. My wife has been a Realtor and said that with her smile and outgoing demeanor that she must be a *huge asset *in your inspection business. The lady inspector from Wichita thought you were partners, my wife said the way you 2 kept grinning and smiling at each other, that she’s either related to you in some way, or that maybe besides working together you folks are real old and good friends - you 2 obviously like what you do, do it well together and it really shows through. Whichever, when she stepped up to the podium and said what she did about giving them love and then walked so calmly out of the room - we were deeply impressed and almost speechless.

Finally, I just got my test results back - - got an 85 with just your stuff as my main study material.
