For all of you holding a New York State Home Inspectors License - DO NOT FORGET the required 24 hours of NY State approved continuing education per 2 year license period.
The State is getting aggressive on Continuing Education audits for license renewal. If you also hold a license in another State, the acceptance of that jurisdictions CE by NY is not to be assumed.
All NY State CE must have an approval number; an L followed by several digits and an approved title. For example: L-0427 “Health Concerns For The Home Inspector”.
As of now, all CE classes must still be presented in a State approved brick and mortar location and be in person. No on line or correspondence classes.
