As a home inspector I find that there is a problem with the wiring in the main panel. This is then disclosed to the prospective buyer in my final report. After reviewing the report the prospective buyer asks if I can assist in fixing the wiring in the panel. I would let the home buyer know that I would not be able to assist them in fixing this problem because it is a conflict of interest.
