Depends on the size of one’s hiney, no?

No Joe, I don’t remember the word “Hiney” in the act

What is the minimum width of an ADA compliant parking space?
**
van accessible?

Hi Tim, good point I was talking about car access, but should have specified, actually the issue is moot, as I messed up on the available answers and I can’t edit them on this board.

Gerry

*actually the issue is moot…
*Nope, you got me doing a little research.

Van accessible should work though…right?

You’re the best man, keep it up!
Thanks
TM

I believe that ADA compliant parking stall requires 8-ft for vehicle with 8-ft loading area - which may be shared between two stalls i.e. 4-ft each for a 12-ft allocation per ADA stall required.

96" for Parking Space. If any access aisles adjacent to accessible spaces it shall be 60" wide minimum. One in every eight accessible spaces, but not less than one, shall be served by an access aisle 96" wide minimum and shall be designated “van accessible”.

lol…I dont inspect parking spaces…but I light them up…my poles cant be higher than 22 feet…thehehehe
