Error printing PDF files with Adobe Reader

Sometimes when I attempt to print a PDF file using Adobe Reader it will print the first couple of pages okay then the rest will be messed up. What can be causing this to happen?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Are you using a wireless printer? Sometimes if I am trying to print multiple pages from my laptop and it is far away from the printer it will error out after a few pages.
