Thank for trying Spectacular Marty. The best way to reach me is at info@aacesystems.com. Let’s continue our conversation via email. Spectacular seems perfect for your inspection style so please download it for free from any of the 3 app stores... Looking forward to working with you.

There's only 3 home inspection products that have a proven track record:
Home Gauge, HIP and 3D. All the rest are just home inspectors preying on home inspector wannabes.
Sad but true.
Only three? I've been in business longer than HomeGauge or HIP. I've been in business since July 1992.

Thumbs down Re: Spectacular Home Inspection Software

After dealing with spectacular software for just under a year, I have given up. The final straw was the reorganizing of my data when using the team portion. We called Aaron and got no help in fixing the problem. The software just used way to much outside work to get a report done.

We switched to Spectora and have been amazed with the total package and even more the tech support. Any issue that we have experienced as part of a learning curve has gotten a response with in 20 minutes even on a Sunday.

Hey Alan,

So sorry to see you go. It’s always tough to see dissatisfied customers express their feelings about you and your services. Please know that we helped you to our best abilities even when you had troubles with photos on your iPad. A couple of weekends we spoke as well to get you back on track. I personally wish you success with Spectora. From the outside looking in, it seems well received. If there’s any glimmer of hope that you’ll come back to Spectacular, we’ll welcome you back with open arms. Tell Parker and Ryan I said hi...

DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE!

Complete rip-off!

They coned us into buying the software by volunteering to place all our info. from our old reporting software into Spectacular. Little did I know the info. installed would be in the wrong locations leaving it basically useless. The customer support is poor and there are no webinars or videos to support how to use the software - just a very small worded user’s guide which is confusing and impractical. Plus, they did NOT even give us our $100 inter-NACHI discount. They also would not refund our money when asked because of the time they spent installing our info. - $599 down the drain!

Hey Dave,

Thanks for articulating how hard we worked for you. Appreciate you man... We wanted you on our team so bad that we typed in your 2643 comments one by one from your InspectIt Word program into Spectacular which took a day and a half... We work hard for everyone who asks for our help converting templates... We’ll never give up on you...

I've been tinkering with Spectacular for the past week or so. It really has great potential but right now, it falls pretty short. While the ability to customize the reports is there, it doesn't really work. Aaron has been very responsive and helpful (offering to create all my reports) but unfortunately, once you delete anything in the "canned" reports, the reports fall apart. The reports rely on HTML and does not like plain text.

I'm not sure where I'll go from here. HIP, appears less customizable but admittedly I haven't spent as much time with it.. I'm tempted at this point to just use the pay as you go reports (ReportHost) until I find one that works. While I acknowledge that the inspection process within the apps are very important, the finished product is the report. The reports are gold, nothing less. Spectacular is pretty close.
