Coming soon to Canada

With the introduction next year of the new electrical code requiring new homes, and all electrical renos to have AFCI’s everywhere, Schneider Electric are introducing to Canada the Plug-on Neutral panels for the Square-D and Homeline panels.

These do not need pigtails for the AFCI’s. They are also going to introduce the person friendly combination AFCI/GFCI that detects ground faults at 5mA.

More info here

Don’t get caught calling out these AFCI’s as defects because they have no pigtails.

Interesting Thanks len

Thanks for the info.
