Our goal is to have every real estate agent in Canada coming to InterNACHI’s websites for their approved continuing education.
Sounds interresting but FYI, here in Quebec RE agents are now called RE brokers, and broker companies are now called agencies.
I would love to order them and pass them out but as you know in Quebec we have a language issue and passing those cards could backfire on interNACHI.
Huh?
Where do you see the word “agent” on those cards? http://www.inspectoroutlet.com/free-quebec-real-estate-agent-marketing-cards.aspx
BTW: We don’t have “agents” in Colorado either.
**Real Estate Agent
**
Do you see that on those cards anywhere? I’m just not seeing it: http://www.inspectoroutlet.com/free-quebec-real-estate-agent-marketing-cards.aspx
Scroll over the card.
Nice, but that home energy report (software) is not design for Quebec nor is it available for inspectors in Quebec…
Nice but it promotes the Home-Energy-Report which is not available in Quebec or any other provinces for that matter.
I can see Brokers asking inspector for a home-energy-report which we can’t provide using your link.
There is also the language issue.
In the next week, we’ll editing the energy courses that are approved in Canada slightly to remove the direct promotion of the Home Energy Report software (because it only works on U.S. housing stock).
However, members in Canada can still market themselves as Certified Home Energy Inspectors™. Visit http://www.nachi.org/logos.htm#energy to see the training and logos. I believe the “Energy Saving Specialist” is a very effective logo for promoting your home energy inspections.
Software is not a requirement to be a Home Energy Inspector. You may refer to the Standards www.nachi.org/sop-home-energy-inspection.htm
InterNACHI Certified Home Energy Inspector™ is an international designation.
Is ANY of this available in French? If it is not, this will NOT work!

The Quebec-approved course is in English, not French.
We shared the same concern. However, Quebec is approving InterNACHI’s courses that are written in English. Their approval letter (in English) is at http://www.nachi.org/images2012/QC-RE/quebec-approval-internachi-continuing-education-real-estate-brokerage.jpg
Nice move Ben!
Don’t get us wrong, I sincerely hope the accreditation process works out for us all at NACHI.
I must admit that I do find it odd that the OACIQ not use the official letterhead but maybe when the courses are accredited, the OACIQ will give NACHI and hopefully CMI the same official recognition as it does to the AIBQ and the ANIEBQ Quebec based inspector associations.
If this works out then great.
Correct me if I am wrong but for negotiations with British Columbia, Alberta and now Ontario, is it not with the provincial government that you have negotiated with?
I would not use English cards only…C`est um manque de respect. Lack of respect to our customers.
My opinion…
Celina you look a bit young to be doing home Inspections.LOL
Tell me, Nick or Ben, would you pull this in Mexico, i.e. English only? Or why not try French only in Alberta?
Goleee!
Get my point? Like I already stated, this ain’t gonna fly!

Would like to offer this in Ontario. When will Ontario RE cards/ courses be available?
We applied for approval in French and they approved it in English. Go figure.
