OAHI Takes the money and continues to ignore its members

OAHI director “David Cook” ignores the members need for answers while in the same breath pleads for volunteers! Then offers an excuse that he is too busy and only comes to the forum once a month! I guess he is not too busy to ignore his duties as a director though. How pathetic.

Members can’t get an answer by calling the OAHI office, they can’t get answers through their forum, and they can’t get answers from their directors even though the forum is about as useless as titts on a snake.

What is the OAHI ding for its members?](http://www.oahi.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=511)

BOD members are not directed not to come or post here, most of us are just so busy ( I personally try to loggin once a month) . As Harry mentioned most of the postings get hijacked and posted elsewhere, so all of us members do have to be careful what we post.

Jeff,
Have you actually sent in a request? To? You can always privately contact me or other board members if you need to

Wayne, your experience and knowledge, not to mention efforts will be appreciated.

Experienced volunteers are always needed and appreciated. The past year the DPPC has dealt with some interesting items. I give a lot of credit to the experience of Trevor, Jeff, Laurel, Harry and Mike (because I won’t give them cash

) that makes this committee work . As well I have personally used the wealth of knowledge from some of the most experienced inspectors to help me both as a committee member and personally.

Didn’t OAHI die yet? How does an association with an upside down benefits/dues ratio even survive these days?

And yet Mr. David Cook has time to crack a joke! Very helpful indeed!

I guess when you belong to a failing association humour is the last attempt to put a good face on a sinking ship.

If I were a director I would jump ship before the rats!

An elderly man is stopped by the police around 2 a.m. and is asked where he is going at this time of night.

The man replies, “I am on my way to a lecture about alcohol abuse and the effects it has on the human body, as well as smoking and staying out late.”

The officer then asks, “Really? Who is giving that lecture at this time of night?”

The man replies, “That would be my wife.”

Apparently its on life support. Even the former Ombudsman is criticizing the operations, lack of accounting and answers…

I am waiting for him to go public, he has the patience of a saint, I guess he is hoping for a miracle, and I don’t even think he is religious!

Still in business and still causing trouble.:frowning:
