While the official launch of the CanNACHI website will not be until the new year, we’d like to start building up links to the site to help boost it’s rankings. We’ll soon have a system up similar to find an inspector so that the system will be linking back to your site as well.
Insert the following code on your website to link to the site. Feel free to change the text color to fit your sites design. The logo in a transparent png file so it should fit on any site. Let me know if you need different sizes.
Please post here once you’ve linked to the site so we can see it! Remember that all Canadian InterNACHI members will becoming CanNACHI members as well, so it’s to everyone’s benefit to boost this site up.

http://www.cannachi.org is up. There isn’t content yet (it’s hidden from public view until it’s all gone over and reviewed), but that doesn’t matter. The more people linking to it, the better it’s rankings. The longer people are linked to it the better as well. The goal I’ve been told is to come flying out of the gates in January.
Looks awesome Tyler! I just realized looking at your site that I didn’t make the logo clickable as well. I updated the code in the first post to reflect this change.
Dom,good job,we will be coming out very strong in the new year,January maybe a little to soon (our error) we must release with everything in place, but it will be soon after that,we have been devoting 100"s of hours with preperations, but it shall happen and we will be a strong voice for Canadian NACHI inspectors, and we will be what Canadian Home Inspectors have been waiting for…An association that works with/mentors/educates and cares about its members.
Thanks Dominic www.ontariohomeinspectionservices.com now sports the new logo.
Just a note, my last 11 inspections in a row have come solely from my website, not agent referals, as simple as my site has been since switching to Dom’s hosting. I am updating it as I go here. A couple have booked online and liked the convenience. Would that be a good thing??
May move it around if I find a better place for it. Would be good to have it slightly smaller, but still remain sharp. Some people may have a problem with the png image in older browsers. IE 5 or 6 may put a bluish background on it. IE 7 is okay.
Looks good Harold! I’ll create a smaller version and a transparent gif and post it in a bit. IE6 with SP1 and 2 shouldn’t have a problem with png’s. I didn’t think about IE5 though, shesh, who still uses that (just kidding Marcel) ?
Most of the time I am running on Vista and don’t have a problem with png images. But I have attached the new logo as shown in IE6 with sp1, sp2, and sp3 installed. Image still has bluish background (see attachement). There are some tricks to making png images work in older browsers, which I have done on my site so there is no problem. Others should be aware though. Google “png images IE6” should bring up some solutions.
Yeah I’ve seen the CSS hacks. I just thought they were solved in SP1. I’ll just updated the code with a gif version to make it simpler. Thanks for the info!
