I thought some of the inspectors here may want to know of this passing.
It is with deep sadness - that I have found out that a good friend and first class home inspector Ron Tropea passed away today. Ron practiced in the Ottawa area. Condolences goes out to Ron’s family.
It is my understanding Ron suffered a heart attack. This information was conveyed on the Canuck Forum.
This is so sad a day in the Canadian Home Inspection Industry.
Ron was one of the hardest working and so dedicated to all
Home Inspectors.
He will leave a big hole and will be missed by all.
I think he was loved by every one he ever had met him.
He was a person who enjoyed every minute of every day and was there to help any one any time .
My Condolences go to his family .

Ronald Tropea passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at the age of 61 years. Ron was a gentleman, one of the best professional home inspector and a great mentor. Beloved husband of Patricia. Loving father of Ryan, Katie (Tim Bernardi) and Martha (Tom Maybee). Dear son of Betty and the late Orland Tropea. He will be sadly missed by his siblings Robert (Doreen), Richard (Judy), Thomas (Daryl), Peter (Deborah) and Elizabeth (Brian) as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
