I have a competitor that claims he is an EPA certified radon tester. Is there such a thing? I cant find anything on it at the EPA website or the Nevada website that states we need to be EPA certified.
No such thing. The closest you can come to that is taking InterNACHI’s radon course which is NRPP approved. https://www.nachi.org/radon-measurement-service-provider-online-course.htm Then use the Radon Tester logo in www.nachi.org/logos
Thanks Nick. It is next on my list. Advanced mold after that.

It is “assumed” by many that if you are “Certified” by these two organizations, (see link) then you are “EPA Certified”.
Even Nick acknowledges that the InterNachi course is NRPP Approved!
Thanks for that link Jeffery! I must have not looked hard enough. It shows the one person in my area that is “EPA” certified.
Radon may be more trouble than its worth in my area but id still like to learn as much about it as I can.
That document is 1990.
No there isn’t.
Please post the Nevada website link.
