Okay, I’m all set.

My thanks to those who responded!

It is much appreciated!

Several of us do have copies of that standard but since we had to buy it then giving it away doesn’t seem all that attractive. I do know that several folks shared it a couple of weeks ago so someone will probably show up soon.

Here is a better SOP www.nachi.org/comsop.htm

Nick, I did see this and really liked it.

The problem was I couldn’t lift it to print.

Do you have one without a website frame around it?

Ron, open the link. Position your cursor at the end of the document, left click and hold and scroll up to the top, stopping short of the header and frames. Right click, copy, then paste into your word processor.

Nick,
On the issue of inspecting crawlspaces, there may be a small issue with this. In Illinois, and possibly the rest of the states, one must have a permit to enter confined spaces issued prior to entering the confined space. Confined space is defined as any space below grade and/or a confined space where there is only one entrance. In order to enter the space one must have air monitoring equipment, SCBA, a means of rescue, and someone or a team above grade ready to assist. This is from OSHA and please look at their Website for additional info.

If anyone is going to inspect crawlspaces, I would check with the building maintenance department, HR department or local Fire Department prior to the inspection.

Hope this helps!
