Hello-
Our inspector has told us that our remodeled kitchen island (48" x 36") does not require an electrical receptacle since the house predates the code, although the kitchen was remodeled just this past spring. Can anyone clarify? Any information is much appreciated (we are in Phoenix, AZ, USA if that helps). Thanks.
