Question about the InterNACHI program

I have decided to become a home inspector and looking into the different programs that are online. My state does not require any special type of certification, but I know the inspectors in my area are certified. I would like to be certified also, and am wondering if I can get all my certification training through InterNACHI or if I should go through a campany like ICA or AHIT. Any suggestions? The InterNACHI website says I could take all the classes by joining, but in order to join, I must pass the exam, not sure I can do that without actually taking the classes first. It’s a little confusing.

They didn’t have anything like that when I joined ~12 years ago, but I think you join as a student and take the tests after studying.
