Roof rafter shows through completed roofing in new construction home.

Noticed the whole impression of roof rafters telegraphing through the completed roof in various spots (front and sides) of a new constructed home. What would cause this problem and most importantly, would the house still be structurally safe…please comment.

Without a photo, I would say you are describing end buckling or sagging of the plywood sheathing.
