I inspected a new build this week and I called out the trim not being caulked to the vinyl window. Builder claims that they do not caulk this area. In the photos you can plainly see the window wrap on the nailing flange at the sill and there is an obvious gap around the rest of the window. Snow on the sill also seems to validate my claim that water will get behind the trim and siding. I am turning to the inspection community to help me confirm what was called out in the report. Any comments are appreciated.
