As a planning commissioner I deal with zoning issues often and until I started doing this never realized how complicated zoning is.
We have planned unit development (PUD), conditional use permits (CUP) and other classifications. My experience has added to the skill I bring to new property purchases. The few property buyers I have told seemed to be impressed that I am also a planning commissioner.
