Why commercial thermal electrical inspection?

This wire was sparking at me.

Very good Jeff. Was it a critical circuit?

Would you be willing to share for our budding thermographers how you document such a find so that the electrician knows what to do?

Yes it was a critical circuit at a manufacturing plant, control panel for screw drive aggregate delivery system. This would have stopped the entire production if or when it caught fire. Luckily the plant engineer was near by and I was able to show him immediately. Repair during lunch break.

Good find, But if the electrician wants to repair it tell him to wait until production is offline, Iv seen pepsi bottling lines shut down when trying to do a live repair, as well as a large steel foundry and forming production line shut down. Tell them to wait till you leave, lol.
