FLIR Infrared Camera IRC40 $700 ??

I have someone who wants to sell an Extech i5 FLIR Infrared Camera IRC40 for $700.
I’m not really in the market for one, but this one looks new with everything that came in the box.
Is it worth it for $700? Is it any good?

The i5 has poor resolution and was discontinued over two years ago. No warranty.
If it needs repaired, you will have to throw it in the trash, as the cost of repairs will
be more than the camera.

When you buy a poor resolution IR camera, then the best you can hope to do is a “make-believe” thermal scan of a building. Not a good feeling, no matter how cheap the camera price.
