Default Frozen water lines

Anyone use Thermal to find the frozen blockage in a water line?

Would this be effective?

Default Re: Frozen water lines

Water and Ice can both exist at 32F.
It is about the Btu removal to accomplish a change of state.
How is a thermal camera going to measure Btu transfer?

If you can get some warmer water moving through the pipe you will see the ice. But by then the problem is solved. Moving water will remove the ice block.
