What, if any kind of liability is there if you include ir/thermal with your inspections?
Plenty if you overstate your capabilities or the capability of the technology or you are unqualified. Get industry recognized training and certification, use professional quality equipment, don’t overhype, clearly state what you can and cannot do relaiably based on the conditions at the inspection, verify thermal anomalies and stay within your competency.
There is absolutely no more liability in doing IR work than there is a grocery clerk doing home inspections???
