I came across a “going out of business” sale and saw a couple of Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro on the sale desk, in their factory shrik-wraped boxes. I got one for me and an extra one in case someone here might need it. I have opened and loaded my copy and it is fine. If anyone here wants the other one, PM me or post an open reply.
I paid $115 for each and I guess postage is about $8.95 within CONUS. Some members here have pm me that they can get it much cheaper. Did I make a boo boo, and pay too much?
The ones I have are neither upgrades nor standard. They are Full version Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional Extended. In other words, they have more features than the Pro. version. They are the box with the blue streak in the graphics at Newegg site. They are not shown in the TigerDirect link. The lady at the desk said they paid over $400.00 each for them and was later confirmed by another guy there. And I have seen the standard version listed for over $150.00. That was what got me excited and bought two. They are these ones listed over $600.00

I have learnt that in the professional world, “FREE” is not usually the way to go, especially if one is serious and committed. But then its also like “different strokes for different folks”
It probably does a bunch of stuff that you or I will never use, but just the way it lets you create and manipulate PDF’s is worth the cost of admission. It’s not like the free stuff.
I’d buy it, but I already have version 8, and it does all that I need it to do.
Good deal!
