FULL-TIME RESIDENTIAL HOME INSPECTOR
Job Description: F/T Home Inspector primarily for residential real estate transactions. Experience preferred but not required.
Qualified candidates will be reliable, trustworthy and ready to learn our tried and true approach to home inspections.
Qualifications: A background in home inspections is not required; however the applicant must provide proof of experience
related to construction, appraisal, real estate, engineering, home inspections, or any related field. Must be available to work
occasional evenings and Saturdays and pass a background screening. Clean driving record is required. ASHI, NACHI or ICC
certification strongly preferred but not required at time of hire.
Preferred Skills: Strong customer service skills. Must have the ability to work with multiple personality types and be able to
troubleshoot under pressure. Must be proficient with email, word processing and typing. Need a quick learner for new programs
and software. Experience and strong familiarity with home maintenance, and/or home construction desired. Must be agile enough
to walk on roofs and not afraid of heights; ability to work in confined spaces in extreme weather conditions. Desires to be part of
a team. Knowledge of wood destroying insects, radon, stucco, and/or mold is a plus.

Home Inspector Job Duties
! Communicate with Office Manager to receive schedule and components for each appointment.
! Perform thorough home inspections that maintain our company standards. The liability of inspecting a home without proper
knowledge and training is tremendous, thus training will be hands-on until fully trained.
! Utilize the technology and tools provided during home inspections to keep accurate records and produce quick, detailed
reports. (We rely on 3D inspection software, Microsoft Outlook and Google calendar).
! Produce inspection reports within 24 hours. (Template and training provided).
! Offer above-and-beyond customer service to buyers, sellers and real estate agents. Be available to answer questions, produce
reports and provide all follow-up as requested.
! Attend continuing education classes to maintain certifications and stay current on the latest technologies and practices
amongst professional home inspectors and our team.
Ideal Candidate
! Outgoing and Customer Service Orientated
! Ability to work individually and in a team with a desire to learn and grow
! Ability to write inspections reports using clear and concise grammar and trade specific language
! Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs
! Ability to work evenings and Saturdays if needed during busy season
! Ability to pass certification exam within 6 months of hire
! Valid driver’s license with no history of DUI’s, non-reconciled traffic violations,
! Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
! High school diploma or equivalent, college a plus
Details: W2 Employee paid per inspection based on production, qualifications and experience. On average our Inspectors earn
$55,000 or higher first year of service. Company provides General Liability and E&O Insurance, company vehicle, fuel expense,
iPhone, uniform, tools, field computer and technology. Reliable home internet access is required and the responsibility of
employee.
