Home Inspector for Illinois, Chicagoland: New License to Entry Level.
Additional Certifications and Licenses are a plus as is InterNACHI membership.
Established Inspection Company currently seeking Illinois licensed home inspector to add to the team.
We cover the Chicagoland Metro Area.
Contract position with flexible hours. You will be working directly with the public, home buyers, realtors, etc. We provide fair compensation and steady work. We will train you to meet our company standards to be out in the field as an inspector working for our company
Applicant must meet the following requirements: Experience in inspections and housing rehabilitation, construction or related fields. Be licensed, computer skills, have a vehicle, own required inspection tools. Have good customer relation skills in dealing with both positive and negative situations. Meet our physical requirements.
Physical Requirements: Perform frequent, extensive, and prolonged walking over rough and uneven surfaces. Getting in and out of vehicles multiple times throughout the entire work day. May require regular and prolonged bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling while working in confined spaces. Tasks include operating handheld computers and regular computer equipment. Tasks requires lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Tasks require operation of hand tools which involve fine motor skills, coordination, and strength. Requires color, sound, depth of field, and visual perception. Must be able to communicate effectively and orally.
Work Environment: Will be varied and you will be required to work in all weather conditions.
