New TX Standards starting January 1, 2014.

Note:

wonder what is the reason for the hard and fast rule here? The last form change had a grace period. Why?

Actually, you can’t use them before Jan 1, 2014, and you have to start using them on Jan 1, 2014.

No overlap. It’s going to be a nightmare for us at InterNACHI as everything has to be updated including our TREC-approved courses on New Year’s Eve.

Realtors and their cronies at work. Sad for you guys. Amazing how the government is moving in on all of us.

Everything is being monitored. Even this message board.

With no overlap or grace period, staff has to work on New Year’s Day.

Just FYI…our latest software version for the Texas inspectors will now AUTOMATICALLY switch over to the new TREC form on January 1st of 2014 so that home inspectors do not have to worry about the pending switch over to the new 7-3 form that night. It will continue to use the 7-2 form until the date on the computer switches over to January 1st 2014. Just another feature to help our current clients in Texas deal with the continuing issues RE agents try to impose on them.
