Note that the associated form has the permit application date field completed! Now I guess it is not an “OR” question, but an “AND” questions
Just had the same thing happen to me yesterday. Agent noted that permit was finaled in 2001 via records. Permit was issued 1994…that is what I entered on report, under permit app date. Agent insisted that I submit install date at 2001. It’s my guess that the owner forgot to call for final, and finally did so 7 years later. I don’t know if they were fishing for the credit or not but I let them know that it wouldn’t make a difference.
