How can I tell if a skylight is rated Impact Resistant?

Their will be a label with the test rating number on the outside frame. Usually at the top side. Ie: Tas: 201,202,203 or ASTM E 1886. You will have to get on the roof.

Thanks Gary. I did that, but the label wasn’t legible.

Or it should be listed on the NOA. You, or the homeowner may have to do some research. Most labels I have found on skylights have not been legible. With no documentation, they will not get any discount

If the glass is tempered, it is not. Other times you will usually need the paperwork.
