I’d like clarification on something…I completed the earlier NACHI wind mit training before it was announced it was approved by the Contracters, etc. Do I have to retake the course?
I would say yes as it has been updated. I have taken 4 different wind mitigation classes (nachi 2x) and suggest you learn all you can and refresh what you know or forgot. I see a lot of reports that are incomplete.
I strongly recommend that you do! The older training was inconsistant with the new Wind Mitigation.
Home Inspectors (and Contractors :roll:) are completing these things incorrectly everyday. If you are going to be offering this services, you better be right on the money.
An incorrect Wind Mitigation is propably the quickest way to never get another agent referral. :twisted:
