Inspection & Writing Assignment:

This image is a photo of a garage roof repair job. There was a hole created by a large tree branch that dropped on top of it. The patch job that was done looks decent, except that there is not an offset pattern created by the shingles. The Top layer and the bottom layer of the shingles are matched with the old shingles, which is not good practice. Luckily, this is more of a functional repair job, than cosmetic where water does not leak through and the person is able to stand on top of their job.

Research & Writing Assignment:

Through the articles and galleries I've researched, I've learned that home inspectors are required some of many things. Not only should home inspectors have decent looks when going to a home to inspect, but also have proper Personal Protective Equipment for the specific kinds of inspection needed. Like, if going into the attic, flash lights are necessary, gloves are recommended and boots are recommended. That being said, home inspectors need to be self-aware and understand that Safety is always priority.
