Hey guys! I am looking at replacing the existing roof on my summer home and am looking at using shingle roofing or steel as a long term alternative.Which is better, steel or asphalt roofing?
Steel is better, but it’s gonna cost cha.
But just like anything only if its done right. I see a lot with out the correct wall to roof flashing. Excuses from the roofers are “well there’s asphalt under it it will be okay”. :roll:

I would use standing seam steel roofing panels, it has the hidden fasteners.
