Oklahoma Licensing Test

Hi all,

I’ve recently completed pre licensing and passed the Nachi examination. I am planning to continue studying for a while before taking the NHIE, which I believe is the required test for licensing in Oklahoma.

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on material to study. I understand that the NHIE can ask some questions that seem to exceed the standards of practice, and I was wondering what you all recommended to prepare for that.

I’m really excited to get this going but I worry the NHIE might slow me down with poor quality questions and with cost…

Ethan,

There are several threads active at this time at this forum that deal with your question. I would suggest you browse through those. Lots of good advice in them that boils down to the following:

Study as much as you can from as many sources as you can find until you have a firm grasp on all of the various systems in a home. Take practice exams, identify your weak points, and study some more. Repeat until you can pass the big one.
