Import Template

So far, I’m finding HIP to be anything but simple.
I’m sure I’m missing something, but how do I open or import a pre-existing template?

It’s not simple until you get in the groove… mobile or desk top?

Desktop

Click on “open template”… 3rd icon from left in desktop. Import a template is different,

I need to import

If you’re using Windows, put the template into this folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Home Inspector Pro\Data

Never mind. I just figured it out. I feel smarter.

THANK YOU!!! Just got it.

Sweet!!! I know how frustrating it can be, usually it is something simple.

Glad you got it Reece  Your IQ meter over on the HIP side is increasing already!

If you are using Windows, the best place to put the template is this folder  :
C:\Users(User profile)\Dropbox\Home Inspector Pro\Data

This is our setup.
I shared the folder on computers I send out with my inspectors. This way, each report is saved in the same location, no matter who does the inspection. It is also saved to 7 different devices at any given time. Should your laptop crash and stay dead, you won’t lose anything as you can just grab the next computer, download the dropbox folder (if you don’t already have it) and be on your merry way. When I make changes to the template, it is updated for everybody, when I add new templates, everybody gets it. All they have to do is update/add the templates on their mobile device (we use iPhones only).
