Re: The great economic run is over. It's downhill from here on out.

Exactly.

Fakenewskevy hates anyone making a dime more than he is and is willing to have .gov take it away from them.

This country has far too many people with no skin in the game sucking off...

If the slow down continues we will likely be affected.

Its pretty simple stuff.

The tariffs are intended to be temporary until more fair deals are reached.

Come on Nick, making "predictions" when we have already noticed a world wide economic slow down is silly like you gold prediction.

Re: Anyone, care to take a shot at explaining the pros and cons of state licensure?

Re: Anyone, care to take a shot at explaining the pros and cons of state licensure?

I'm in a licensed state. I inspect in an adjacent state that has no licensing.

Licensing may add a faux level of credibility but that's all.

YMMV

I'm sure that happens but we both know their chances of getting work beyond the first few is slim.

I think apprenticeship is a much better model.

Re: Anyone, care to take a shot at explaining the pros and cons of state licensure?

Wrong question Charlie.

Many come to this profession with a wide range of backgrounds.

4-5 months of some school won't even come close to preparing a person to do decent job for a young skull...
