Re: New inspector - Excited!

In future posts it is best if you attach a photo of the topic you need help on. Not one from across the street as some done in the past with a caption like...what is wrong with this picture. A nice...

Re: Camera on pole or ladder

I just read in a building trade magazine I got yesterday in the Letters to the Editor about a 20 yr guy that got fined $10,000 for taking aerial photos with a drone camera. Apparently ALL aerial...

Re: Can some one explain this to me

Don't confuse show business with home inspecting. He is in the entertainment business and has lots of sponsors. If he hoses something up, they will make it right. Every once in a while you may need...

Re: inspecting a/c systems

When I was going thru HVAC school, I was already doing home inspections and had been for years. I asked the instructor about this "rule" and he just laughed and laughed.

Re: 4-point for mobile homes

NO they are not. It still has to be inspected by a FL licensed Engineer to issue the letter. Now, the caveat to that is, Engineers can legally hire inspectors to go out and do those inspections for...

Re: Moisture Meters

Agree Roy...I have cheap ones, expensive ones, Deep Wall ones. One the main reasons I still carried the cheap one with the pin probe at the end of the 3 ft cord is for Cathedral ceilings with no...

Re: Moisture Meters

Re: New use for a garden hose--conduit!

Not new. Stupid people have been doing this for decades. Wait until you find one used as conduit buried in the yard just below the surface or better yet laying on top the ground. Pay particular...

Re: 4 point inspecton insurance fraud

Think about it. You should be consistent but these are two totally different inspections for different reasons. Why would you as a buyer pay for an insurance inspection on a home you do not yet own....
