Grey Toilet Water?

A friend and Realtor of mine just called to ask a question and I honestly have no answer for him. He woke up this morning and found grey (dirty) water coming out of all of his taps and from the...

Re: How Long Do You Take to Inspect a Condo?

One hour. I've only had one client who was a physician cause the inspection to take 2hrs because he was late and didn't want us to start until he got there. Once he finally showed up he wanted to...

Re: OAHI Conference

OAHI is still gleaming about some BS piece of literature that states only OAHI members can be called Registered.

I means nothing. But they promote it (after 20 years) of meaning that they are the...

Re: OAHI Conference

Stop the infighting? Sounds fantastic to me but OAHI needs to practice what they preach. I just lost an inspection 2 weeks ago because the client was informed by OAHI that since I was not...

Re: On-Site reporting

Larry you use the word "Advanced" to describe yourself and your inspections. Anyone who is looking at that website can figure out that there isn't much advanced about it. Don't tell your clients that...

I hope the spelling and grammar on his "fresh reports" are better than his "outdated website".

Re: Great E&O Rates For Inspectors

I agree Bryce. But the best way to start is to take the monopoly away from one single insurer. If there is no monopoly, then competitiveness between insurance brokers will drive down prices. That's...

Re: What's a home buyer to believe?

Every god awful problem I find in new construction was passed by city code inspectors. I tell clients that the inspectors are there to make sure it's legal, and not there to make sure that it's done...
