Re: ISG Call Center

I've used ACC and have been with ISG now since January. I had no idea that a call center could be so smooth. ACC does a great job, but ISG takes it to the next level. The service and support is...

Re: 5-Point Inspection

I did one for Allstate years ago. It's legit, like John and Dennis said. Just tell them what type and condition of windows.

Infiltration and Duct Leakage

I received an email regarding IDL training and certification by NACHI. I'm considering this as a service, but I'm not sure if AC contractors will sub it out or do it themselves.
Do any fellow FL...

Re: How to up-sell mold testing to make more money and reduce liability in the proces

If you see mold, why test? The result will be the same.....clean/remediate.
I wish I were a better mold test salesman, but when you see it why test for it?

Re: Mobile Homes/ Manufactured Home

Not true. You can do tie-down inspections for insurance purposes. However, you have to be or work through an engineer to do VA/FHA foundation certifications.

Import Template

So far, I'm finding HIP to be anything but simple.
I'm sure I'm missing something, but how do I open or import a pre-existing template?

Re: Fl sop

I was having a hard time finding the HIP message board. I found it, though.
I have my HG data moved into HIP, but the format is different and I'm trying to clean it up. Wayne helped a lot.

Mansard Flashing Detail?

In Florida, this is the norm (see photo) for terminating the low slope modified bitumen to the steep slope shingles. It isn't right, though. This should have metal flashing, IMO.
What are your...

Re: Not Allowed in the Park

Hmm. I hadn't thought about that. You're right. DBPR only shows him having a Null and Void Auctioneer License. Used car salesman is exactly his persona.

Re: USAA

Do you have a direct source to send them to, or do you let the client handle that.
I've done them for USAA in the past, but it's been awhile.

USAA

It's my understanding that USAA uses DMI for wind mitigation inspections. Will they accept a UMVI that's not from DMI?
Anyone have experience with this?
