Re: Alumiconn

What I see is an old style SqD QO breaker. Did it have grooves on the handle? I also don't see any AL/CU labeling on it. It really doesn't matter now (if you flagged this on a 4pt)...the damage is...

Re: A question for the sparkys.

No clue, unless someone switched out the handle. Shouldn't say 30 on it.

Re: Wind Mitigation Missed Nails

Unless you can definitively verify that the missed nail run was backed up, you should assume that it wasn't. All of those long missed lines would revert back to the original nailing (weakest...

Re: Main Disconnect

Google "Split bus panel". The top six breakers make up the service disconnect.

Those are Quad Circuit Breakers. Common for 240v circuits with limited space.

Re: Water Heater Overflow Pipe material ?

Should be 1" PEX due to fitting restriction. That's the code in my area.

Re: Bedroom Yes or No ?

Agreed. There is nothing in the current code that says a bedroom requires a closet. More than 70sf, natural light, fresh air ventilation, and emergency escape means are required.

Re: Moisture intrusion in Florida homes

The FBC requires that homes are protected from water infiltration. It's usually workmanship errors or subpar building materials that cause most of the problems. Stucco contractors are slowly learning...
