Air Handler Age

I need help determining the date of manufacture for this air handler. According to building-center.org it is 1932. I know that is not right. Thanks.

Re: When you have a house of horrors....

It's amazing sitting in a restaurant and see so many people with their face in a cellphone. I'm occasionally guilty of it too.

Re: Another reason to self closing doors to the garage

Interesting. Homeowners didn't like them anyway.

Re: Another reason to self closing doors to the garage

I figured a GC licensed in the State of Florida would know that. Maybe I'm wrong.

Re: Another reason to self closing doors to the garage

My pleasure.

I know this from being a Finish Carpenter and actually installing them.

Re: Another reason to self closing doors to the garage

Exactly.

Maybe it was never as much of a problem as it is up north. Around Tampa natural gas still is not very common but more and more new homes do have it, we have fireplaces but not as many...

Re: Another reason to self closing doors to the garage

Also another good reason to have carbon monoxide detectors. They are required here for new construction if the house has an attached garage.

Re: Best gloves for the electrical inspection?

Roy is correct. Gloves would be too cumbersome. Imaging dropping a deadfront on a new hardwood floor.

Re: Aluminum wire and alumiconn connectors

Andy did you do a 4 pt inspection also? If so you would need documentation of any aluminum wiring remediation from a licensed electrician to accompany the 4 pt. That would cover you also.

Re: What gun debate? Many Texas school teachers are already armed

Time to change the snowflake mentality. Teach them not to be wussies and let them know it is a dangerous world out there.

Re: What gun debate? Many Texas school teachers are already armed

Yes my mistake. Didn't think it through before typing it. Students should not know who is carrying but the school should.

Re: What gun debate? Many Texas school teachers are already armed

Agreed. Not about trying to get respect it would just happen. And yes the students would not know who is and who is not carrying. That is the great thing about concealed carry you never know who is...

Re: What gun debate? Many Texas school teachers are already armed

I think teachers should arm themselves if they choose to and the teachers that don't want to be armed shouldn't. Just think of the respect an armed teacher would get from their students.

I have seen these before but do not know what it is. Found nothing on Google. I think it is part of the irrigation system.
