We’ve used Steve multiple times now and his inspections are extremely thorough and accurate. He is well educated in every aspect of the home. He knows all technical details, industry standards, government requirements, and anything else that can have an affect on a person purchasing a home. He’s honest and will explain the severity of any issues in the home and also explain multiple resolutions and outcomes. Anything that requires an independent specialist he will usually have a reliable contact for. He is thoroughly equipped with equipment to provide a complete home inspection report including all necessary PPE , testing devices, and a drone to provide detailed overhead property photos. We would recommend Steve to anyone without any hesitation.

Steve with Lodestar Home inspections was great to deal with. We called on a Tuesday for an inspection on our home and he was able to fit us in on a Friday since I would be out of town the following week. He is very thorough with the inspection and the report generated is fantastic. Not only does he include pictures and videos of an issue he provides great detail and recommendations to remedy the issue. And best of all his pricing is more than fair for the results. I highly recommend Lodestar Home Inspections and will use Steve again when I need an inspection.

As a first time homebuyer I wasn’t sure what to expect from an inspection. Steve was extremely helpful and thorough. I was surprised at all the useful images, drone footage, and videos he included thoroughly explaining each current and potential issue. He even included diagrams on how to fix certain issues. Which, as a diyer, is tremendously helpful. Steve not only followed up a few days after the inspection report was sent, but when I reached out to ask a question he immediately responded. Can’t say enough good things about Steve’s service. I only wish I got service like this everywhere. I’ll definitely be recommending him to everyone I know. I always assume great, generic sounding reviews like this are auto-generated, but I was just genuinely pleased with this inspection 👍

Amazing service. Steve was very willing to answer questions and provided an incredibly detailed report on the status of the home that I am purchasing. I highly recommend. The price is reasonable, and when it comes to home inspections, cheaper is definitely not better. You get what you pay for, and with Lodestar, you get a lot.

Steve was amazing. I called him needing an inspection and was incredibly pleased with the whole process. Everything was emailed to me promptly with detailed pictures, videos and explanations. I even called back the next day and he walked me through everything. He caught things on the inspection that were very helpful in the home buying process. Very thorough and great to work with.
