Kevin moved to Big Sky, Montana in June of 1997 and joined on a local homebuilder’s small crew in 1999. Being on a small crew allowed Kevin to learn and perform many aspects of the home building process from foundations to framing, siding, decks, and roofs as well as be closely involved with all of the Subcontracted trades. Kevin built his own home in 2006 as the first project for his own contracting company, Elevation Construction. Elevation Construction continued on building homes and performing remodels and additions.

After having neck surgery, Kevin augmented his skills and experience with a comprehensive home inspection training program, became certified through InterNachi and started Big Sky Home Inspectors in 2014. In 2015, Kevin expanded his service options to include thermal imaging by purchasing a Flir T640 Thermal Imaging camera and becoming certified as a Level 1 Thermographer through the Infrared Training Center.
