Ancillary Inspection Performed by a Third Party Addendum

You have signed an Agreement with us for a home inspection at ________________________________________________ (property). 

In addition, by signing this Addendum, you are asking us to hire an independent contractor to inspect________________________________(service) at the property on the terms set forth below.

1. The fee for our service in hiring an independent contractor to perform the desired testing is $__________. This is in addition to our fee for the home inspection. 
2. We will hire an independent contractor to perform the inspection, and upon receiving our contractor’s report, we will provide that to you.
3. We do not guarantee, warrant, or make any promises concerning the independent contractor and/or the independent contractor’s report. We are not responsible for correcting or mitigating any issues the report identifies. Our role is limited to finding the contractor, coordinating an inspection date for that contractor, and providing the contractor’s report to you.
4. You must cooperate with our independent contractor.
5. All other provisions of the Home Inspection Agreement you signed apply to this Addendum.
