ATI Home Inspector Training Partners with InterNACHI®: Press Release

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

ATI Home Inspector Training Partners with InterNACHI® for Live and Online Education

BOULDER, Colo. (Aug. 22, 2019) – InterNACHI® is pleased to welcome national education partner ATI Home Inspector Training – also known as ATI Training™ Home Inspection Institute – and its Texas affiliate, RETS Home Inspector Training.

ATI President and Founder Scott Newcomer, a longtime inspection industry leader who also founded AHIT, the Home Inspectors Training Institute, says that teaming up with InterNACHI® has helped him reach one of his professional goals.  "We've committed to teaching to the InterNACHI® Home Inspection Standards of Practice."  Absent nationwide regulation of home inspectors, "that means that we'll produce the most qualified and knowledgeable home inspectors in the industry, along with InterNACHI®."

InterNACHI® Founder Nick Gromicko sees this as an important milestone for home inspectors seeking independent training, especially in non-licensed states.  "We spent years with industry experts developing and fine-tuning our SOP, which we continue to do to keep up with current construction and homebuilding standards," he says.  "We consider our SOP to be the gold standard for home inspection best practices, so we're gratified that other educators realize its value."

Newcomer adds that the fact that the InterNACHI® School has been accredited by the U.S. Department of Education – the only home inspector school that can make that claim – adds some serious bulk to its already robust reputation.  "Adopting the standards developed by InterNACHI® is simply a win-win for the industry and for the consumer," he says.
