Clear Your Browser's Cache & Cookies

Are you having issues logging into or progressing through courses, or submitting and saving your mock inspections? If so, these issues and many more can be resolved by simply clearing your browser's cache and cookies. Select your browser below and get started now!

Note:
Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are the preferred browsers of InterNACHI, as they work best with our online education system. Not sure what browser you're using? Go here to find out!

Google Chrome

  1. In your browser window, go to:chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
  2. At the top of the window that appears, click Advanced.
  3. Select the top four options:
    • Browsing history
    • Download history
    • Cookies and other site data
    • Cached images and files
  4. For the Time Range option, select All time.
  5. Click CLEAR DATA.
  6. Exit the browser completely, then re-open a new browser window.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. In your browser window, click the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner, and select Preferences from the drop-down menu.
  2. Select Privacy & Security from the left-hand side.
  3. Under the History section, click clear your recent history.
  4. Select the top five options:
    • Browsing & Download History
    • Form & Search History
    • Cookies
    • Cache
    • Active Logins
  5. To clear your entire cache, in the Time range to clear dropdown, select Everything, and then click Clear Now.
  6. Exit the browser completely, then re-open a new browser window.

Safari

  1. From the Safari menu, select Clear History....
  2. Select all history from the dropdown menu, and then click Clear History.
  3. Exit the browser completely, then re-open a new browser window.

Microsoft Edge

  1. In your browser window, select Hub > History.
  2. Select Clear all history.
  3. Select Browsing history, then Cookies and saved website data, and then Cached data and files. Then click Clear.
  4. After the "All Clear!" message appears, exit the browser completely, then re-open a new browser window.

Internet Explorer

  1. Select Tools > Safety > Delete browsing history....
  2. Deselect Preserve Favorites website data, and select:
    • Temporary Internet files
    • Cookies
    • History
  3. Click Delete, and wait for the confirmation.
  4. Exit the browser completely, then re-open a new browser window.

Opera

On a Mac
  1. From the Opera menu, select Clear Browsing Data....
  2. Select the top four options:
    • Browsing history
    • Download history
    • Cookies and other site data
    • Cached images and files
  3. Set the dropdown menu to delete data from the beginning of time, and click Clear Browsing Data.
  4. Exit the browser completely, then re-open a new browser window.
On a PC
  1. Open the red O and then select Settings.
  2. Click on Privacy & security from the left-hand side, then select Clear browsing data....
  3. Select the top four options:
    • Browsing history
    • Download history
    • Cookies and other site data
    • Cached images and files
  4. Set the dropdown menu to delete data from the beginning of time, and click Clear Browsing Data.
  5. Exit the browser completely, then re-open a new browser window.
