Catherine Hall

 

Catherine Hall is the author of the exciting book, Major Purpose, Major Decisions:  The 7 Things to Know Before Hiring a Home Inspector, as well as the amazing new book, Insights of a Successful 203k Consultant:  How to Have or Run a Trouble-Free FHA Renovation Project.   She is also the creator of the nationally recognized "203k In a Box System."  As America's 203k queen, she has trained and mentored thousands of FHA 203k Consultants from across the country.  She is also the founder and owner of Value Home Inspections. 

Since 1993, and for more than seven years, Ms. Hall was the only certified female home inspector in Pennsylvania. Her company is a multi-inspector firm that serves the Bucks, Philadelphia, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Her company was one of the three firms that were exclusively selected by the City of Philadelphia to perform home inspections for first-time home buyers in the "Philly 500" program from 1997 through 2001.  

Ms. Hall has been a practicing FHA 203k Consultant since 1999 and has completed over 500 consultations, in addition to having performed over 3000 home inspections.  Ms. Hall has certification as a FEMA Disaster Relief Inspector, a REAC Contract inspector, a PA/DEP Lead Risk Assessor, a PA/DEP Radon Measurement Technician, and a PA/DEP Licensed Pest Control Operator.   In 2001, Ms. Hall started Value Termite and Pest Control to assist home buyers and sellers with pest control services.   

Ms. Hall holds leadership positions in various organizations, including Montgomery County Partners for Home Ownership, Willow Grove Leads Group, and the Beacon Cooperative for Homeownership. Ms Hall has an extensive teaching background, which includes courses at Temple University, Philadelphia Community College, Montgomery County Community College, and Drexel University's Science Center, as well as courses for thousands of small and large groups of prospective home buyers in a cooperative venture with non-profit housing counseling agencies and community service organizations throughout the area.     

Ms. Hall is honored to be the Executive Director of the National Association of FHA Consultants (NAFHAC), a non-profit organization dedicated the the growth and empowerment of FHA Consulting in America.     

Ms. Hall lives by the belief that education and information are the keys to success in all areas of life, and she has devoted herself and her company to assisting people from all segments of the population achieve the dream of safe home ownership.  She has been happily married for over 19 years and has three children and two grandchildren, of whom she is very proud. She feels herself blessed by God for all of the challenges and opportunities He continually provides her, her companies, and her family.
