Home inspectors, aspiring inspectors, and real estate professionals are all invited to this one-of-a-kind educational event!
Arizona Homes Through the Decades is a signature course developed by Joe Worthy, CMI, to help real estate professionals and inspectors understand the evolution of residential construction across the Valley. After educating Realtors through this curriculum, Joe is bringing this exclusive class to our first in person InterNACHI Grand Canyon Chapter event.
Arizona homes have changed dramatically over the last century and so have the construction methods, building materials, defects, and inspection challenges that come with them. From historic homes built in the 1920s to today's modern new construction, you'll gain a deeper understanding of what makes each era unique.
This engaging session will cover common construction practices, aging building systems, Arizona-specific concerns, and the inspection considerations that vary by decade. Whether you're inspecting a historic bungalow, a mid-century ranch, or a brand-new home, you'll walk away with practical knowledge you can apply immediately in the field and confidence that will make you a better inspector or a more informed real estate professional.
As a bonus, we'll also welcome two local nonprofit organizations that the InterNACHI Grand Canyon Chapter is proud to support, highlighting the impact our profession can have beyond the inspection itself. Bring an unwrapped toy or canned goods to donate for the upcoming holiday season.
The in-person event also provides an excellent opportunity to network with fellow inspectors, industry partners, contractors, and real estate professionals from across Arizona. Lunch will be served. Come learn, make new connections, and help us kick off our first in-person chapter event in a meaningful way.
