Wondering if a drone can help your inspection business ....... there are many reasons to use a drone as part of your services. On a roof thats tall, steep, wet, etc it can be hard OR impossible to safely walk and inspect it WHILE with a drone that can often be done safely in 5-10 minutes without danger to the roof or inspector. It can help set you apart from your competitors and improve your reputation. Kyle is a licensed FAA Part 107 drone operator and will discuss the various benefits of using a drone, types of drones, how to get licensed, getting started with a drone, marketing your services, etc.

The purpose of this class is to help YOU protect yourself as you write a report. Quite often a home inspector will write what they think is a great recommendation, BUT but how they write it may increase their liability NOT decrease it. Limit your liability! Most consumer complaints you get can be eliminated with a properly written report........ Pat will discuss the “Dos and Don’ts” of a well written report. He will touch on how Judges, Arbitrators andAttorneys act and respond to reports, and he will discuss the Essential ReportWriting Rules to use everyday such as the ..... who, what, when, where, why, how, and the action that should be taken ... .Limiting your liability!

Pat is a Board Member of KARCI; Education Director for the World-WideInspectors’ Networking Group (WING); and he was the 2018 Recipient of theGromicko Award (Inter-NACHI's Member of the year).

In this session, Ryan & Jeff will review various components of the electrical system in a home that you need to inspect including the Service Entrance, Main & Sub-Panel Boxes, Grounding & Bonding, Branch Wiring & Fixtures, Common Electrical Defects, Safety Hazards & Amateur Installations, Defects vsRecommendation for Safety Improvement and electrical safety issues, and new changes in the electrical codes for electrical components we inspect. Jeff was a licensed electrician and Ryan taught the electrical class for the PITI school.
