Hands-On Field Training: Inspecting a Bar-Restaurant

Apartment on top, bar and restaurant in the middle, basement below. Classic mixed-use. Join us to inspect your neighborhood sports bar.
Register for the hands-on field training in Chicago to:
Work through the client intake process, including a mock client call and creating an inspection fee and proposal
Identify property conditions, discuss approaches, and understand buildings and their systems in real-time with the instructor
Inspect commercial building systems and consider the unique factors of restaurants and mixed-use properties, including:
Hood systems, exhaust ventilation, and other cooking area elements
Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and roofing systems
Building structure and balcony
Exterior and shared elements affecting both the commercial space and upstairs apartment (life safety, fire safety elements, safe egress, drainage, etc.)
Begin drafting your final report, with one-on-one instructor review available for final draft at later date
