The Florida Department of Financial Services has awarded the contract to InterNACHI® to serve as the Wind Certification Entity (WCE) for the My Safe Florida Condo Pilot Program. InterNACHI® Inspectors will be the exclusive provider(s) of wind mitigation inspections for condominium associations within 15 miles of the Florida coast.
InterNACHI® will be hiring solely InterNACHI®-Certified Professional Inspectors to perform these inspections. To become qualified to participate in this program, you must complete the list of requirments on this page:

InterNACHI ® will be completing the Citizens Type II/III form for all participating condos over 3 stories and the OIR-B1-1802 form for all condo 3 stories and under.
To complete the Type II/III form you must hold a General or Building Contractors license, an Engineering license, or be a Building or Code inspector.
Home Inspectors approved for the program can complete the OIR-B1-1802 for condos 3 stories and under.
To participate in the program, inspectors must provide proof of general liability insurance, professional liability insurance (E&O) and either workers' compensation insurance certificate (with min 100,000 per accident, 100,000 per person and 500,000 policy aggregate) or a workers' compensation exemption.
