MFD Home Certifications Joins InterNACHI® as a Vendor
BOULDER, Colo. (April 27, 2018) – InterNACHI® is pleased to announce that MFD Home Certifications, US LLC, has become an InterNACHI® vendor, offering a new incentive program for home inspectors to conduct the field work for permanent foundation certifications of manufactured homes.
While engineering firms that use home inspectors to conduct the field work for these 30-minute inspections is not new, with MFD Home Certifications, the inspector earns $250 or more per inspection, versus the average $125 that other firms pay. With MFD Home Certifications, the inspector sets his fee and charges the client, and then simply pays MFD Home Certifications $150 when submitting the required data and photos for the engineering service.
MFD Home Certifications President Harold Van Dyk is a Certified Master Inspector® and has been a home inspector for 20 years, as well as a longtime InterNACHI® member. Vice President and Chief Engineer Pat Conroy, PE, has conducted thousands of engineering inspections. Both men are dedicated to helping home inspectors add substantial dollars to their bottom line.
Van Dyk is proud of how their service has evolved, saying, “Inspectors who are already signed up report that MFD Home Certifications' system and web portal are much easier and intuitive to use than those of other firms.”
InterNACHI® Founder Nick Gromicko agrees. “Combine that, along with making double or more dollars, and it clearly makes sense to use MFD Home Certifications for the engineering service,” he says.
